The man had been weeping beautifully for quite some time before he threw himself against her in desperation.

Grant me this one humble wish, and I will become entirely yours."
Some changes were made
After reading futher into the story, I've realized I'v misgendered a character:
-Torius (Arius's younger sibling) is female.
Clarifications:
-the emperor is female.
-the crown prince is female.
-prince and emperor are gender-neutral terms
